Business and First Class passengers can come with two items. Also, all passengers may go with another small handbag or a laptop bag if it can be stored under the seat in front of you. Thanks to an additional baggage allowance you can check in 23 kg for Economy, two items of 23 kg each for Premium Economy, two items of up to 32 kg for Business and three items of up to 32 kg when you fly First Class. Excess baggage is quite costly and can be $150-300, so make sure you don’t arrive at the airport with larger suitcases than these sized and weigh your luggage in advance. When you fly from Tel Aviv, you can take any amount of liquids and creams into the cabin. However, if you have a connecting flight you should pack them in the baggage you are sending into the hold since you will not be allowed to board the plane with items that contain liquids of more than 100ml. This rule also applies to your return flight. Read our full guide to Lufthansa cabin baggage here.
All Economy Class passengers can choose a seat for free as soon as the check-in period begins. However, your choice might be limited.
