Alicante Airport

Alicante–Elche Airport (ALC), located 9 km southwest of Alicante and 10 km east of Elche, is the main airport serving the Valencian Community and the Region of Murcia. The airport has one main terminal for the passengers, called NAT (Nueva Área Terminal) or The New Terminal. The two old terminals, T1 and T2, aren’t operating for the passenger traffic. Bus line C6 will take you to Alicante, and the ticket cost is about €1.50. The Train / Tram system runs along the White Coast (Costa Blanca). It has four lines: 1, 2, 3 and 4. The official taxis are operated by Radio Taxi Elche, you will recognize them by the green line that crosses from the front to the back of the vehicles and the shield of Elche in the front doors. When to visit Alicante

Alicante is a perfect destination for vacations all year long. There are only about 20 days of rain. The best weather for the beach is between June and September, with 27-31 degrees during the day. This is also the crowdest time of the year. The winters are mild, with temperatures around 18-20 degrees.
